Tips
Don't search for words like "the" "company" "and" etc.
Enter key words for your search eg. "Energy Sav" for "Energy Saver Windows" this will give you names beyond what you are searching.
Trade Mark
If a trade mark is cited look in the classes in the Trade Mark section to see if the nature of business of the Trade Mark conflicts with your business.
It is important that you apply to register a name before printing stationery or commencing trading.
Sensitive words and expressions
There are some words and expressions that you can't use in a business name unless you have official permission. These are words that might give a false impression about your business. They are known as sensitive words.
The rules about sensitive words apply to all types of businesses and fall into five main groups:
